Brad Atchison

BRAD ATCHISON

General Manager, Cayenta Division

As the General Manager, Brad is the strategic leader responsible for the overall direction of the Cayenta Division including Product Direction, Sales, Professional Services and Support. Working with the management team, Brad continues to focus the division on the delivery of superior business solutions within our customer base as well as expanding market share.

Brad joined Harris in 2004 as the Director of Professional Services and was instrumental in the creation of the Business Solutions group which led to the development of the Cayenta CRM and Portal modules, Mobile Service Orders, Dashboard and Customer Self Service.

Brad has over 17 years experience in the Utility Market and previous to the Cayenta acquisition worked within the Division as Director of Development Services and Senior Application Consultant where he had the opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of our products, services, customers and industry. Brad has also worked within the Utility industry at BC Hydro where he served initially as a Financial Analyst with the Corporate Finance group, and later as the Manager of Market Information & Analysis in BC Hydro’s industry leading Power Smart business unit.

Brad received his Bachelors of Commerce degree in Finance from the University of British Columbia in 1991, and is also a Certified General Accountant.

Scott MacKendrick

SCOTT MACKENDRICK

Vice President, Professional Services

As Vice President of the Professional Services department, Scott is responsible for a versatile group of implementation professionals with accountability for and oversight of all aspects of customer implementation, including project management, training, data conversion, custom programming, report development, and implementation support. His Professional Services team prides itself on facilitating successful installations by focusing on the specific needs of each individual customer.

Scott joined Harris in 2006 and before coming to Cayenta, Scott held the Vice President of Professional Services position of Harris’s Spectrum division where he was responsible for the successful delivery of over 200 implementation projects in 27 different US states with a varied project scope that has included new customers and upgrades across 6 legacy product suites. He also filled a temporary position as Vice President of Research and Development and has served as Integration Manager for acquisitions. Prior to his time with Harris, Scott spent several years in the private sector with roles including that of Systems, Network, and Database Administrator. Scott earned his Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree from Niagara University.

Stephen Burrowes

STEPHEN BURROWES

Director, Professional Services

As Director of Professional Services, Stephen is responsible for the leadership of the project managers, the application consultants and business intelligence personnel that are directly engaged in the implementation of client projects.

Stephen comes to Cayenta with over 26 years of project management and leadership experience, having worked for companies such as Boeing, Hughes and Square D. In addition, during a twelve-year consulting career, Stephen led projects in the utility/energy industry, helping clients with business process improvement, organizational change management and system optimization projects, both in North America and Europe.

In addition to leading the Professional Services team, Stephen is accountable for continuous improvement of the methodology and tools employed by the team to efficiently and effectively implement projects.

Stephen holds a BS degree in Computer Science with a Business Administration emphasis.

Toni-Lynn Sojda

TANJA RADEKA

Director, Business Intelligence Services

As Director of Business Intelligence (BI) Services, Tanja is responsible for the leadership of the BI group and for managing all aspects of BI deliverables across multiple projects, including report development, analytics, dashboard and data conversion.

Tanja joined Cayenta in 2008 and before her appointment as Director, worked as a Senior Consultant on a number of successful new implementations, upgrades and custom module projects across North America. Prior to joining Cayenta, Tanja worked for eBay on their Australia and Canada sites. Tanja holds Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.

Nigel Richardson

NIGEL RICHARDSON

Vice President, Support Services

Nigel is a long time Cayenta employee, joining the company, then known as Nissi Computer Systems, back in 1984 where he was part of the team that developed the original version of the Cayenta Financials software.

Nigel’s tenure at Cayenta has included roles in development, application consulting, project management and as Director of CF Business Operations.

Nigel’s current position of VP, Support Services provides him the opportunity to do what he finds the most rewarding; working with our valued customers to provide solutions to their Cayenta software questions and issues.

On the personal side, Nigel lives in Vancouver with his wife Sharon and their three children (one still at home) and enjoys spending weekends on their sailboat, exploring B.C.’s coastal waters.

Mark Bouvier

MARC BOUVIER

Director, Technical Services and RTS

Marc currently serves as Technology Director at Cayenta; responsible for formulating and supporting the technology initiatives set by the executive management and customers alike. He has been working in the computer industry for 25 years.

Marc’s 14 year tenure at Cayenta has included senior positions of escalating accountability in Technical Consulting and Professional Services, leveraging his experience leading complex technical implementations and charting technology direction for Cayenta’s operations and research and development departments. He currently oversees the Technical Consultant and Remote Technical Services (RTS) teams, whose roles are to deliver outstanding customer experiences through installation, consulting, and managed services.

Prior to working at Cayenta, Marc was an information technology analyst and team lead at IBM and the Yellow Pages Group in Vancouver. Marc is a graduate of the British Columbia Institute of Technology.

Richard Goodfellow

RICHARD GOODFELLOW

Director, Customer Relations Management

Richard joined Cayenta in 1998 and for ten years worked as a CU Application Consultant followed by taking on the role of Director of Financial, Utility and Technical Consulting, and then moving into Project Management.

In April 2009 he was charged with forming the Customer Relations Management group which has subsequently grown to a team of over half a dozen. The CRM group, as part of the larger Support group, is responsible for working with current customers on new projects, custom software modifications and upgrades, among other things. As well, CRM organizes the annual Product Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings and Cayenta’s part of the annual Harris Customer Conference.

Richard attributes the majority of his success in life to his proficiency at the Sesame Street game ‘Which one of these is not like the others?’

Chris Campbell

CHRIS CAMPBELL

Vice-President, Research and Development

Chris Campbell recently re-joined Cayenta as the Vice President – Research and Development. Previously with Cayenta, Chris was the Director of Professional Services for the Cayenta Utilities product and worked as a Senior Application Consultant on several successful implementations. These roles gave Chris a thorough understanding of our products, services, customers and industry.

As VP of Research and Development, Chris is responsible for managing the strategic deliverables of Cayenta’s development group. He also works closely with the Director of Product Management and Director of R&D to enhance our delivery methodology and plan future product direction.

Chris received his Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Windsor in 1996 and graduated from Simon Fraser University with an MBA focusing on Management Information Systems in 2002.

Alex Castillo

ALEX CASTILLO

Director, Research and Development

Alex has over 20 years of international experience in IT/IS. He has spent much of his career in the software development area, including implementations of large-scale, multi-year projects and ERPs.

As promoter of agile and Kanban development with a successful record for execution and delivery, he is primarily responsible of the development of Cayenta products. Alex has several years of experience building up self-disciplined and self-organized teams, boosting productivity and driving incremental process improvements.

He has held several positions during his professional career in diverse industries. He holds a computer science degree and PMP, SMC and ITIL certifications.

Barry Dunphy, VP of Business Development

BARRY DUNPHY

Vice President, Business Development

Barry has over 20 years of professional experience in the software and utility industries. Prior to joining Cayenta, he spent seven years consulting to B.C. Hydro, Canada’s 3rd largest utility. In his 13-year career at Cayenta, Barry has been primarily responsible for managing the implementation of Cayenta products across North America, and for building the Professional Services consulting practice.

Barry has held a number of positions within Cayenta, including Consultant, Project Manager, Director of Application Consulting, and Vice-President of Services. In his current role of Vice-President of Business Development, Barry spends much of his time traveling, working directly with potential clients and partners to maximize the potential of Cayenta products and services.

Barry graduated with an MBA from the University of Colorado in 1990, with a concentration in Finance. He also earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary in 1986.
