Harris Computer Systems ("Harris”) is pleased to announce that the Public Utility District No. 1 of Cowlitz County, Washington (“Cowlitz PUD”) has chosen Cayenta’s Enterprise Resource Planning (“ERP”) Solution for its ERP system. The Cayenta ERP is a comprehensive solution including Cayenta Utilities, Cayenta Financials and Cayenta Operations.
Cowlitz PUD provides electric service to 48,200 residential, commercial, industrial and street lighting customers. The PUD has repeatedly achieved greater economies of scale, benefiting its customers through low and stable rates. Cowlitz PUD was recently a co-winner of the 2009 Wind Power Pioneer Award by the U.S. Department of Energy Wind Powering America Program.
