Longmont, CO — January 26, 2026 — The City of Longmont has successfully gone live on the Cayenta Customer Information System (CIS) and the SilverBlaze Customer Engagement Portal (CEP), deployed in modern, scalable cloud solutions. The go-live marks a major milestone in the City’s efforts to modernize utility operations and improve access to information for both customers and staff.
Together, the Cayenta Customer Information System and SilverBlaze Customer Engagement Portal deliver a fully integrated platform that centralizes customer, billing, and service data, giving City staff timely, accurate access to the information needed to efficiently serve customers. The integrated system supports consistent workflows across departments and enables more responsive, informed customer interactions.
For Longmont utility customers, the SilverBlaze Customer Engagement Portal provides enhanced self-service capabilities, including easier access to account and billing information and improved digital communication options. Internally, the Cayenta Customer Information System serves as the system of record for utility billing and customer management and provides the functionality required to support a complex, multi-service municipal utility environment.
